Bandung Hash House HarriersBandung Hash House Harriers"Runs" take place every Monday afternoon starting at 4:00 and 4:45 in the greater Bandung area (usually the north). Someone, called the "Hare" will have set a trail through rivers and valleys, kampongs, and such. Hashers may run, walk, shortcut, or avoid trying to follow this trail. If you go, you'll surely see things that you'd normally never see any other way. Hashers' share of the cost is around rp50000, something like US$5 these days, which includes Anker beer and often food sponsored by the Hares (however, the Hares are not required to supply food -- so eat a nice lunch). Ladies' share of the cost is around rp40000. A warm jacket and a change of clothes are recommended for the after "run" ribaldry called the "on-in", which starts around sunset (6pm).
